Meet Jill

Jill Gilbert specializes in strategizing, building, and branding new divisions for evolving creative businesses. Throughout her twenty-plus year career, she has nurtured strong industry relationships, led creative processes from concept through execution, and built thriving animation businesses.

Jill’s business, Jill Gilbert Consulting, works with clients to create and build development infrastructure, provide development services, develop go-to-market strategies, scout for talent, and produce animated content. Her clients include Epic Games, Supercell, Baobab Studios, Moonbug Entertainment, and others.

Drawing on her studio executive experience at The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Animation, and Technicolor, Jill successfully built original IP divisions from scratch for independent animation studios Luma Pictures and Psyop. In addition to developing over 50+ new projects, she effectively transitioned the core businesses from animation/VFX partners to content creation studios, overseeing the creation of development infrastructure, hiring key talent, and obtaining financing offers from companies including Sony Pictures Animation and Fox Animation.

Jill has been a guest lecturer at UCLA Extension, Producers Guild of America, Women in Animation, Women in Toys, Emerson College, The Art Institute of Santa Monica, and College of the Canyons. She continues to mentor the next generation of Hollywood talent.



 

Meet The Collaborators

 
  • Sara Zotovich is a passionate animation producer and consultant who specializes in creating positive impactful children’s content and strategic advising for businesses in the animation space. Throughout her 12+ years of experience in animation, Sara has fostered strong industry relationships, helped build development slates/divisions, curated and led teams from development through pre-production and has a proven track record of building efficient and effective production pipelines. Her work has taken her across series and features as well as to the global level where she spent four years overseas in Australia leading productions. She has served as both the client and the service studio and has immeasurable leadership experience managing projects with global creative and financial partners.

 
  • Sam is a 15-year veteran of the Entertainment, Digital Media, and Advertising industry, holding positions in production, post-production, operations, market analysis, finance, and business development for global entertainment companies such as NBC Universal, CBS, The Directors Guild of America, United Talent Agency, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. While holding a B.S. from Cornell University and an Executive MBA from Auburn University, he is also a certified Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, and SAFe 5.1 Lean Portfolio Manager. Sam specializes in synthesizing complex market research into actionable insight to design growth strategies for businesses and helping organizations utilize their existing resources to build effective teams that drive results.

 
  • Tiffany Pham is a visual development artist and animation consultant with a passion for storytelling. After graduating from San Jose State’s Animation/Illustration program in 2020, Tiffany joined Kuku Studios as a production assistant assigned to the story and art departments on an unannounced feature film. Within 6 months she was promoted to art coordinator where she helped oversee a team of 10+ artists remotely. Soon Tiffany was taking on art assignments of her own and was given the opportunity to transition to be a full time visual development artist on the film. With her unique experience working in both Production and Art Tiffany specializes in visual development for feature film, series and development, scouting for upcoming talent and developing pitch materials.

 
  • Revathi Suchita Kotni is an accomplished Indian-American Production Manager who has worked on popular shows like "All Hail King Julien," "Boss Baby: Back in Business," "Fast and Furious Spy Racers" at Dreamworks TV, and "Ghee Happy" at Netflix Animation. With a deep fascination and love for TV and film, she aims to bring light to more South Asian and women-centric stories. Revathi has been actively involved in her community and served as the Co-Chair for Women @ Netflix Animation and was a mentor for the Netflix Production Mentorship Program. Through this program, she was able to make a positive impact on the lives of aspiring producers and help them reach their potential. She is a dedicated member of WIA and Asians in Animation, where she advocates for greater diversity and inclusivity in the entertainment industry.

 
  • Luana Kasych is an accomplished Production Manager with extensive experience leading production, as well as talent acquisition/management, teams in Design, Animation, and VFX pipelines, from development through post and final delivery. With over 10 years of experience across commercial, TV, and Film formats, they have a proven track record of implementing innovative and scalable workflows among complex organizations within companies like Netflix, Deluxe, Technicolor, and more. Luana specializes in managing cross-functional partnerships and productions, organizational leadership, talent development, and resource management by building valuable relationships and loyalty across internal and external collaborators.

 
 
  • Lauren Topal is an Emmy award winning Producer. She has over 15 years Producing at world class Animation, Game, and Virtual Production Studios. Her previous experience includes Netflix Animation, Pixar, Naughty Dog, Riot Games, and The Third Floor, to name a few. She has worked on interactive, television, and feature animation using both 2D and CG pipelines. Other types of content that Lauren has worked on include mobile, console, and PC gaming as well as virtual and augmented realities. Lauren believes storytelling transcends medium, utilizing innovative technologies to tell compelling stories.

 
  • Kyle Gabriel is a seasoned development executive with a proven track record of shepherding the creative process on award-winning films such as Moana, Zootopia, and Big Hero 6. In addition to animated features, Kyle has experience developing series, limited series, graphic novels, books, and other media. He excels at collaborating with storytellers and filmmakers to craft compelling narratives featuring captivating characters and unforgettable worlds. Kyle currently divides his time between his two passions: telling stories across multiple mediums and making wine in Napa Valley through his Paper Planes Wine Company. Whether in the story room or the vineyard, you’ll find him working hard for a laugh.
